Supervision is a mandatory requirement for most professional organisations. A supervisor not only assists you in understanding the process of counselling but will also look after you as a counsellor. The old adage that doctors make the worst patients is also very true for counsellors. Supervision is a learnt process quite separate from the counselling process.
